Maka turunlah ayat ini (Surah al Hujuraat: 49: 1) yang melarang mendahului ketetapan Allah dan RasulNya. (K. Firman Allah Swt.: Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang beriman. (Al-Hujurat: 15) Yaitu yang sempurna iman mereka. hanyalah orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya, kemudian mereka tidak ragu-ragu. (Al-Hujurat: 15) Maksudnya, tidak ragu dan tidak bimbang dalam keimanannya. Bahkan teguh dalam suatu pendirian, yaitu membenarkan dengan Surah Al-Hujurat. Surah Al-Hujurat ( Arab: سورة الحجرات ) adalah surah ke-49 dalam al-Quran. Surah ini tergolong surah Madaniyah, terdiri atas 18 ayat. Dinamakan Al-Hujurat yang berarti Kamar-Kamar diambil dari perkataan Al-Hujurat yang terdapat pada ayat ke-4 surat ini. Ayat tersebut mencela para sahabat yang memanggil Nabi Muhammad .
